What does it do?

LMI’s community advice service provide free, impartial, and confidential support on a wide array of issues. This can include:   

  • Benefits and debt: Helping people to claim the benefits they're entitled to and offering guidance on managing debt.

  • Housing: Assisting with housing applications, tenancy issues, and homelessness prevention.

  • Employment: Providing support with job searches, CV writing, and interview preparation.   

  • Relationships and family: Offering advice on relationship difficulties, parenting, and family law.

  • Consumer issues: Helping people resolve disputes with businesses and understand their consumer rights.

Our advisory service often acts as a bridge between individuals and complex systems, simplifying complex processes and empowering people to make informed decisions.
