LMI’s Readability skills is an informal programme of learning, which offers individuals one to one support, which is tailored to their needs and interests. This can include wanting to improve reading skills, brushing up on spelling and grammar, help with filling in forms or producing a CV or wanting to help children or grandchildren with homework. Each programme works at a time and pace to suit individual needs and sessions take place locally, so that learning is accessible.
Investing time in developing reading, writing and communication skills can lead to increased confidence, improved decision-making, and greater opportunities. It’s a skill that empowers individuals to take control of their future, improving skills and knowledge, improving prospects for employment and participate fully in society.
