Working in partnership

NCH are currently working with partnership agencies in the area of the St Illtyds Ward to develop services in response to the needs of local children, young people and their families.

Brynithel Community Centre

Following consultation a range of opportunities are available at Brynithel Community Centre as follows:

Beauty Course

This course is aimed at developing skills, tips and ideas on applying make up, caring for your skin and nail art.

The group is fun and informal and open to all community members aged 16+

Cookery Challenge

The Cookery Challenge group offers a range of fun packed workshops.

Group members take part in preparing and cooking low cost family meals from scratch!

The sessions are informal, offering information on all current topics such as healthy alternatives for children using everyday ingredients - "Why not make your own Burgers, Chicken Nuggets etc?".

Language & Play

This is something for the little ones - a Language & Play group offering parents/carers the opportunity to meet with other adults, share experiences and ideas, while discovering with their children the first stages of development.

Fully trained staff facilitate the group, ensuring you and your child receives maximum support.

The New Year brings new ideas...

Family Fitness

A Family Fitness group begins in January.  Just in time to shake off the winter blues and work off those mince pies!

The group will offer physical exercise through a variety of methods based on individual abilities.  Fully trained staff will provide support and information while group members are free to enjoy the benefits gained from family fitness!

All services are FREE of charge, informal and friendly.
