Classes

The Institutes were originally built by the local workers to self educate and self improve. Therefore, education is a primary function for the refurbished Institute and is an essential part of the project.

Llanhilleth Institute will offer a huge range of accredited and non accredited courses in a variety of subjects. The Institute works in partnership with various educational bodies to provide a diverse and effective service.

Courses and workshops will include arts and crafts, IT and computing, dance, music, singing, languages, cookery, healthy eating and many, many more. We will try to accomodate an exciting and informative range of activities.

As the Institute is a resource for the community it is important that local people have an input into the courses on offer. Therefore feedback and suggestions would be appreciated.
